Bitrix24 pretty much does everything, but run your company for you. Bitrix24 solves the issue of finding messaging apps, HR software, and task management programs that are compatible by putting all of that and more in one spot. More than anything this is a way to simplify office logistics and organisation.
Bitrix24 is what has been described as a “social project management” package that works like a social intranet in a way similar to Facebook’s News Feed. It gives workgroup members the ability to view team activity, “like” certain items and share workflows with colleagues. It also integrates with Facebook and Twitter, adding some additional social flair.
For one thing, if you have a company with an office environment, you could try including a social intranet. Bitrix24 is a collaborative suite that connects CRM, instant messaging, collaboration, and task management into one package. If you’re looking to just try it out, get their free package.
If you’ve been thinking that you could really use an Intranet site for your small business, but you’re worried about the costs associated with building and maintaining one yourself, you might want to take a look at Bitrix24. The thing that most impressed me about Bitrix24 was how quickly I went from knowing nothing at all to finding my way around the user interface, setting up groups and posting files. It tooks me a matter of seconds!
For some reason, Bitrix24 isn’t widely known — and I think that’s a shame. The program combines a social intranet system with CRM tools that include contact tracking, sales funnel management, messaging, activity planning and calendars, all of which enable your team to quickly manage important pieces of information from within a central program. Best of all, it’s free for teams with fewer than 12 people (subscription plans for larger groups are modestly priced as well).
Bitrix24 at its heart is a social intranet for smaller companies that provides tools for company teams that allow for immediate discussions (ala Facebook) with members of their groups, the ability to share documents, tasks, incorporate leads, provide calendar and email tools and much more. The application has an easy search option as well to find employees or vendors, documents or files, and more. This is an alternative to more complicated CRM and project management applications.
What are people using social intranets for? The vast majority (73 percent) of those working with Bitrix24 are using it for its activity stream and instant messaging capabilities, followed by document storage, sharing, or collaboration (27 percent). Approximately 87 percent of them believe the platform will increase employee productivity.
The first thing Bitrix24 does when you log in is provide a lot of information. The workspace main page is packed — there are three columns of links to workspaces and workgroups, an activity stream, client apps, and tasks… you can extend Bitrix24 into a full corporate intranet by using its employee directory, company organisation, and organisation chart features.Bitrix24 is definitely worth a look.
